The Urbanist's Day: two Oslos, from palace to fjord

Two centuries of city-making in one day. In the morning, the city that followed the King west: palace, villas, avenues and a sculptor's axis. In the afternoon, the city that turned back to the sea: a motorway sunk under the fjord, an opera you can walk on and the projects still being built. Ideal for architects, planners and anyone who likes to know why a city looks the way it does.
